Children's Ministry / Early Education Center / Cub Scouts

The Children’s Ministry at Cornerstone is organized into two programs, infants through 4 years old and  kindergarten through grade 5. It is available during the 9:05 and 10:45 worship services on Sundays. We offer a place where children are welcomed, valued and cared for while they discover how the truths of the Bible can help them make the right choices in life. All children who attend Cornerstone Church can worship in services tailored to meet their needs every Sunday.

We welcome you and your children to visit our Children’s Ministry Small Groups and experience one of the exciting, fun programs that have been designed just for them.  We have "Built on the Solid Rock," Rock-On Bible Club for children in grades 4 and 5.  Meeting from 4:30-5:30 P.M. each Sunday afternoon in the multi-purpose room.

Cornerstone School (CEEYC) has been open for 15 years. There are about 180 children, ages 2 to 12, who participate in the daytime, and before and after-school care.

Children at the center are taught based on the Holy Bible, but we do not discriminate based on religious backgrounds. Teachers use the A Beka Book curriculum, which is a Christian-based reading, phonics, math and Bible program. Children at the Cornerstone School are also exposed to art, computers and gym time.

We provide an environment that is safe, comfortable and very enriching socially, emotionally, academically and also spiritually. This is not just a job for our teachers, it really is a passion for them.

Cornerstone School provides an educational experience with the convenience of childcare hours for the families and incorporate activities like weekly cooking where students can learn to measure, pour and stir as a group.
